Jason E. Baker, D.D.S., grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he attended Louisiana State University earning his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Baker continued on to receive his D.D.S. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, receiving numerous awards and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1998. He went on to marry his ‘Texas sweetheart’, Heather, a physician assistant. Dr. Baker and his wife resided in Dallas for over 8 years where he had a dental practice.
During his time in Dallas, Dr. Baker decided to broaden his knowledge into different areas of dentistry. He has invested significant time in continuing education over the past 12 years including coursework at the prestigiousPankey Institute in South Florida. Over the last 8 years, Dr. Baker has concentrated in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, dentofacial orthopedics, and orthodontics, including an orthodontic continuum based on the teachings of renowned orthodontic educator, Dr. William R. Proffitt. He has also taken advanced coursework in TMJ treatment, the alignment of the jaw joints to alleviate pain and “popping” jaws. Dr. Baker is currently completing his certification with the international Association of Orthodontics, the leading organization in the world for orthodontic education of general dentists. His experience in multiple dental disciplines allows him many ways to create beautiful smiles and healthy bite alignment.

In 2006, Dr. Baker and his family relocated to the Emerald Coast to be closer to their family. A few years after that, Dr. Baker was thrilled to open Miramar Beach Dental & Orthodontics and to be a part of a cohesive group with a goal he supports.
